MINDSET
Focus on the client is what most people say, it's not what most people do
People in a people business say, of course I make it all about the client / potential client yet often they only pay lip service to the concept.
The focus is too often on how they can convince a client / potential client to buy their product or service. The focus is superficially on the client / potential client - it is a "strategy" to achieve a connection for the purposes of making a "sale".
One suggested training method I have heard is where you imagine all your potential clients have a sign on their forehead saying "I am Important". Who is that really all about? ME or YOU the potential client?
Genuinely focusing on the client or potential client requires more than a superficial acknowledgement that it's not about ME, it's about YOU.
